Advertising is one of the nation’s fastest changing industries. It has re-invented itself over hundreds of years, adapting to the evolving technology consumers demand.

Large corporations, small businesses, and start-up companies are now working tirelessly with advertising agencies to present their products and services on smart phone applications like Instagram and Snapchat.

“With a community of more than 400 million, Instagram is one of the world’s largest mobile ads platforms. Businesses can share their stories with a highly engaged audience in a creative, high-quality environment and drive action with their ads. Instagram ads are now available globally for all businesses — big and small,” it says on the Instagram  advertising page.

According to an article from CNBC, Instagram advertising provides a higher ad recall than standard online advertising.

“Facebook says that ad recall from sponsored posts on Instagram was 2.8 times higher than Nielsen’s norms for online advertising, according to a study of 400 campaigns first reported in June.”
